Having first appeared on our stage in 2019, Akropolis returns to the Cecilian Chamber Series for a concert title inspired by the program’s centrepiece, Ravel’s “Le Tombeau de Couperin,” a poignant tribute to the French soldiers who perished during World War I. The program will also include works they have had specifically commissioned. The ensemble’s impeccable musicianship, precision, and sensitivity are sure to bring out the best throughout the concert.
