Akropolis is excited to be a part of Living Arts Detroit Kresge Back to School Series, giving a free concert on September 27 at 7 pm at the FREC in downtown Detroit. Before and after their performance, they will also be giving free music workshops at 6 pm and 8 pm.

Each night of the Kresge Back-to-School series is filled with free workshops, free music & dance, and free food. Varying from Detroit-style Dunham Dancing, Hispanic Heritage music and dance, Contemporary Classical music, and even Dive Bar Soul Music. Also, did we mention that these events are all entirely free to the public? With guest appearances from our own Living Arts students to guests traveling far and wide like Phillip Michaels Scales, we encourage everyone to come and experience what cultures and art Detroit has to offer you.
