Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival 2021 is a virtual summer program devoted to performance excellence and career development
Akropolis is excited to be returning (virtually) to the IWCMF to perform a concert celebrating new works for the reed quintet.
This live stream concert will feature the exclusive online premiere of a newly commissioned work for Akropolis by composer Annika Socolofsky, titled so much more. An auditory journey in chamber music, so much more weaves together live interviews conducted by Annika, Akropolis, and XUAN from 7 small business owners in our communities, celebrating these individuals’ experiences, and what it means to be a small business owner today in America.
The 7 small businesses and their owners featured in Annika Socolofsky’s so much more:
- April Anderson, Good Cakes and Bakes
- Kay Willingham, Art in Motion
- Garnette Archer, Jo’s Gallery
- Sabrina Swain, Narrow Way Cafe
- Bruce Knudson, Rocking K Farms
- KJ Whitney, Prideful Wellness
- Keke Liu, Keke’s Wigs
