Akropolis joins the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for a concert premiering the winners of their 20/21 student composition composition!

For the first time in NAfME’s 35 year history, the reed quintet was chosen as the instrumentation for the NAfME annual Student Composition Competition! Akropolis will premiere their video recordings of 6 winning works and interact live with each winning composer, and the audience. Come hear these 6 world premieres and be ready to ask questions about the creative and performing process, as well as Akropolis’ upcoming projects including their 4th album release, Ghost Light, and more!

This online concert will feature video premieres by Akropolis of 6 of the 2020 Student Composition Winners!
