One of 10 student compositions created during our 21/22 School Year Residency at M.L.K. Jr. Sr., High School, Cass Tech High School, and Detroit School of Arts.

These pieces were workshopped throughout the academic year and premiered in person at each school on May 31, 2022. Students compose works for Akropolis while being taught about music composition, the creative process, and reflective practice. The residency is generously supported by the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, National Endowment for the Arts, Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, Paul M. Angell Family Foundation, and Kresge Foundation.
