Working alongside Le Boeuf and Philadelphia filmmakers @fourtenmedia, we crafted instruments out of salvaged garbage and single-use plastics, and then drove all of the items back to Michigan to make sure they were properly recycled so they would not end up in landfills.♻️

“All Consuming” asks the question: What happens when you are not responsible about your consumerism or usage? This track, with its examination of the chaos brought about by consumerism in America, formed the initial thread that would culminate in Are We Dreaming the Same Dream?, a broader work about American identity.

This commission began at the 2022 Akropolis Chamber Music Institute @bayviewmusicfestival, where Oswald also wrote a killer piece, Travel Hazards (video in our YouTube!). So pumped to be bringing this multi-year collaboration to life.
