Akropolis firmly believes the strongest way to foster appreciation, access, and the growth of classical music is through interactive educational experiences. Akropolis has developed several outreach initiatives, from K-12 offerings to master classes, entrepreneurship residencies, composition workshops, and community concerts, Akropolis educates the next generation of musicians to ensure that a vibrant culture of art persists in our communities and in future generations.

Lunch & Listens

Our goal is to bring new music to new places. Akropolis aims to change the perception of access to classical music by bringing it directly to new people in unexpected places. Akropolis has offered a variety of lunch time concerts at office spaces around the country, helping encourage cultural exploration from employees in a variety of diverse communities.

 

 

Public Pop-Up Concerts

Let us bring classical music to your town in unexpected, public places. Akropolis will give a variety of pop-up performances in large-scale public spaces, including outdoor gathering spots, grocery stores, coffee shops, malls, and more. The more new music we make, the more new places we want to take it to.

 

 

Offstage Community Concerts

In addition to short & sweet pop-up shows, Akropolis aims to give full length concerts in unconventional spaces. Does your community already gather somewhere outside the concert hall? Why not bring the music directly to them! Akropolis has performed concerts outside department stores, inside high-rises, and even at a whisky distillery.
