Virginia Arts Festival: Educational Residency
March 28, 2022 - April 1, 2022
Akropolis returns to the Virginia Arts Festival for a week-long educational residency in Norfolk, VA. Throughout the week, Akropolis will be visiting several K-12 schools in the surrounding Norfolk area, giving in-school performances, master classes, and workshops. Akropolis had the privilege of delivering this educational residency in 2016 with the Virginia Arts Festival and was scheduled to return to these schools in early 2020, but was unable to do so due to the pandemic.
Following this week of educational activities, Akropolis will be returning to the Virginia Arts Festival for an evening, ticketed performance at the festival’s Perry Pavilion on April 12, 2022. For more information about this concert and to purchase tickets, click here.
